The quality of your planning is directly related to your level of success. Dwight Eisenhower said: "Plans soon become irrelevant, the process of planning is indispensable." He was a master planner, you can get good at this skill too.
Planning is one of the top three skills you need to be successful in business. The other two biggies are messaging and offer structure. Planning helps you think through the what-ifs and thus prepares you to act quickly when your plans get blown up by unforeseen events — which is bound to happen.
