Jeffrey Schmidt

Jeffrey Schmidt is a public speaker, trainer and consultant on the topics of business, marketing, selling, eco-education and personal growth. His company, DeepSky Business Building (formerly DeepSky Marketing), is bringing the many business-relevant findings of Quantum science into the world of commerce.

Over his 40-year career Jeffrey has developed marketing programs for hundreds of companies: see case studies on his site. He now helps sustainable and socially responsible businesses create greater impact in the world.

Jeffrey began his career in marketing research, fielding studies for companies like Allstate Insurance, Bank of America, The California Milk Advisory Board and Clorox Corporation.

He has developed marketing programs and materials for organizations such as: The American Marketing Association, Heald Colleges, Foppiano Winery, Bushtracks Expeditions, Oracle Corporation, It’s Yoga International, Zafis Chiropractic, SolarWorks, Parker Compumotor, Abbey Springs Water Systems, Empowered Body Solutions, MTI College, Switch Vehicles and many more.

He has created environmental awareness campaigns and outreach materials for Ecology Action Associates, the Laguna Foundation, the Sonoma County Water Agency, the counties of Marin, Napa, San Mateo, Merced and the cities of Santa Rosa, Fremont, Hayward, Newark, Union City and more.

For 20 years Jeffrey was a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and held a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) designation with that organization. He was the education director for the Sebastopol Entrepreneurs Project (SEP) for more than a decade.

Jeffrey is an accomplished speaker. He gives talks on personal selling, marketing and business for SCORE, SRJC, SEP, local chambers of commerce, CEO Focus, and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of Napa.

He was president of the board of The Middle Way, a sheltered workshop for developmentally disabled adults. He spearheaded The Middle Way’s transition toward making their landscape services green and sustainable.

Jeffrey is a meditation teacher, QiGong instructor and was a NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) certified practitioner. NARM is an advanced methodology for healing complex attachment, relational and developmental trauma and a vehicle for personal growth.

Jeffrey is the author of three books: Five Proven Internet Marketing Methodologies, Seven Key Questions You Must Ask Your Communications Partner, and Five Ways to Enliven Your Message. His new book “Selling a Better World” is due to be released in 2024. This book will highlight his new program: A Course in Trusting Gut Instincts.

Dr. Hall is a registered nurse, a Doctor of Metaphysics, and a HeartMath Certified Clinician with over 40 years of experience in supporting mind-body well-being. She offers a unique integrative perspective that combines science, spirituality, and practical tools for everyday life.

As a HeartMath instructor, Dr. Hall specializes in teaching evidence-based techniques that help individuals regulate their nervous systems, cultivate heart-brain coherence, and build emotional resilience in the face of stress and life transitions. Her approach is compassionate, accessible, and empowering, making complex concepts easy to understand and apply.

Dr. Hall is passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom, strengthen their emotional self-regulation, and achieve greater clarity, balance, and well-being in both their personal and professional lives.

Responding to Great Need

This generation of humanity is facing an unparalleled number of global crises on multiple fronts simultaneously.

Environmentally we are dumping record levels of pollutants into our air, water and land. Living systems across our planet are plummeting. Scientists agree that today’s extinction rates are hundreds, or even thousands, of times higher than the natural baseline rate. We are a part of these living systems.

Social fracturing is evident in the ideological divisions and economic disparities we are seeing in the United States and around the world. In many cases social media has exacerbated divisions and reinforced tribalism. Mitigating social fracturing requires cool-headed dialogue and unparalleled innovation from all walks of life.

What humanity needs most is a “Copernican Worldview Shift.” Copernicus was the guy who said: “The Sun is not revolving around the Earth, it’s the other way around, the Earth is revolving around the Sun.” This is the size of the problem we are grappling with.

The solution of “thinking different” needs to be more than an ad campaign. We need to set a new course by reestablishing a core strength of what it means to be human. What humanity needs most is: A Course in Trusting Gut Instincts.

Intuition and instinct are the foundation of personal creativity and the bedrock of human innovation. Humanity is coming out of a dark age.
